Question by S. Castor:
I had facial shingles about one year ago. Is this something to worry about?
Answer:
Not necessarily as many healthy patients get shingles. However it can be sign of an underlying disorder so we usually recommend that all patients get evaluated by a doctor to make sure that there is no evidence of any other illness.
